Üheatomiliste

Üheatomiliste is an Estonian term that translates to "monatomic" in English. It is most commonly used in chemistry and physics to describe substances composed of single atoms. This contrasts with diatomic molecules, which consist of two atoms bonded together, or polyatomic molecules, which have three or more atoms.

In chemistry, elements like noble gases such as helium, neon, and argon exist as single atoms in their elemental form at standard temperature and pressure. These are examples of monatomic substances.
