Önergesi

Önergesi is a Turkish term used in formal legislative and administrative language to refer to a proposal or motion submitted to a deliberative body, such as a parliament, municipal council, or committee. The base noun önerge denotes the instrument itself, while önergesi is its possessive form, used to indicate ownership or association, as in komisyonun önergesi (the commission’s proposal) or belediyenin önergesi (the municipality’s proposal).

In practice, an önerge is a formal instrument intended to initiate a debate, request a decision, or propose amendments to a text.
