Õhureregulaator

Õhureregulaator, often translated as air regulator or pneumatic regulator, is a device used to control and stabilize air pressure in pneumatic systems. It is a crucial component in various industrial, automotive, and domestic applications where precise air pressure is required for optimal operation of tools, machinery, or equipment. The primary function of an õhureregulaator is to reduce a higher, often fluctuating, input pressure from a compressed air source to a lower, constant output pressure. This is achieved through a diaphragm, spring, and valve mechanism. As air flows into the regulator, it acts on the diaphragm, which in turn controls the opening and closing of a valve. A set spring provides the desired output pressure. If the output pressure drops, the spring pushes the diaphragm, opening the valve further to allow more air in. Conversely, if the output pressure rises, the diaphragm is pushed back, partially closing the valve. This feedback loop ensures a consistent output pressure regardless of fluctuations in the input supply or changes in downstream demand. Different types of õhureregulaator exist, including general-purpose regulators, high-pressure regulators, and specialized regulators for specific applications like spray painting or medical equipment. They are typically made from durable materials such as brass, aluminum, or stainless steel to withstand industrial environments.
