Útfalls is the Icelandic term for an outfall, the point where water or treated effluent leaves a system and enters a receiving water body. It is used in hydrology and environmental engineering to describe both natural and artificial discharge points. The singular form is útfall and the plural is útfalls.

Natural útfalls include river mouths and estuaries where freshwater flows into the sea or a lake.
