õhusõidukitele refers to aircraft in Estonian. An aircraft is a machine that is able to fly by gaining support from the air. This support is generally derived from the aerodynamic lift generated by wings, or in some cases, from the upward thrust of a gas, such as in a hot air balloon. Aircraft are a broad category of vehicles.

Airships, also known as dirigibles, use buoyancy from gases like helium to stay aloft and are capable of long-duration flights. Drones, or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), are remotely controlled or autonomous aircraft increasingly used for photography, delivery, and military reconnaissance.

The development and use of aircraft have revolutionized travel, warfare, and communication, playing a critical role in globalization and modern society. Regulations and air traffic control systems are in place globally to ensure the safe operation of these complex machines.
