The landlord, or üürileandja, agrees to let a tenant, or üürnik, use a property in exchange for regular rent payments.

The core of üürileandmine is the üürileping, or lease agreement. It also details the condition of the property at the time of rental, often through a handover protocol, and outlines obligations for maintenance and repairs.
