Ühedimensiooniline refers to a concept or object that exists or can be described using only a single dimension. In mathematics and physics, this typically means a line or a point. A one-dimensional space has length but no width or height. Movement in a one-dimensional space is restricted to going forward or backward along a single axis.

Think of a straight line drawn on a piece of paper. You can move along that line in two directions, but you cannot move off of it in any other direction. This line is a representation of a one-dimensional object. Similarly, a point can be considered the most basic one-dimensional entity, having no extent in any direction.

In more abstract terms, a one-dimensional array in computer science is a list of elements that are accessed using a single index.
