Ørskog
Ørskog is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the Sunnmøre region of the county. The municipality was established as the municipality of Ørskog on January 1, 1838. It bordered the municipalities of Skodje, Haram, Stordal, and Sykkylven. The administrative center of Ørskog was the village of Sjøholt. The municipality encompassed an area that included the Ørskog mountain range and the Ørskog mountain valley. The economy of Ørskog was historically based on agriculture and forestry, with some industry developing over time, particularly in furniture manufacturing.
