Ångermanälven
Ångermanälven, or the Angerman River, is a major river in northern Sweden. It rises in the mountains of Ångermanland and flows through the Ångermanland region to the Gulf of Bothnia, draining a large watershed. The river’s lower stretch runs through the Höga kusten, or High Coast, area, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its rapid post-glacial rebound and distinctive coastal scenery.
