Ângjellet

ângjellet is a mountain peak located in the Dovrefjell – Sunndalsfjella mountain range in Norway. The peak is situated in the Rauma municipality, in the county of Møre og Romsdal. It has an elevation of 88 m above the surrounding terrain.

The mountain is a plateau-like formation with relatively flat terrain and several smaller peaks surrounding it. The highest point of the peak is the easternmost part of the mountain massif, which reaches an elevation of 1,936 meters above sea level. The western part of the mountain feature a long series of troughs, where glaciers flow along the terrain.

The region surrounding the mountain is characterised by steep slopes and glaciers, which creates an alpine landscape. The local topography of the surrounding mountains has an above average steepness, with some slopes having a height of up to 500m within a horizontal distance of less than 10 km. This is caused by tectonic forces acting on the Earth's crust millions of years ago.

ângjellet is primarily known for its unique landscape, formed through a combination of natural processes and geological history. Geographers and scientists have a high interest in the area due to its distinct characteristics of erosion and landscape formation.
