Zhvilloj is a fictional constructed language and cultural project developed for world-building and linguistic experimentation within online conlang communities. The term zhvilloj is a self-contained coinage intended to suggest a language of communal villages and urban-rural interaction, without reference to any real language. The project has circulated mainly on collaborative wikis and discussion forums dedicated to constructed languages, with activity beginning in the 2010s and continuing through the present.

Phonology and writing: Zhvilloj features a compact phoneme inventory designed for ease of learning. Vowels are a, e, i, o, u. Consonants include p, t, k, m, n, s, l, r, f, v, h, and the digraph zh, pronounced /ʒ/. The orthography adopts a Latin-based alphabet; digraphs zh and ll denote their distinct sounds, and diacritics may mark stress or tone in some texts.

Grammar and syntax: The language is described as largely agglutinative with analytic tendencies. Nouns inflect for number and case using suffixes; demonstratives and adjectives usually follow the noun. Verbs mark aspect and mood through suffixes and occasional preverbal particles, with a general SVO word order. Questions are formed with a light question particle or by changing intonation.

Lexicon and usage: Word formation favors compounding and derivation from a core lexicon, with some neologisms created to fit described cultural concepts. The writing system supports prose, poetry, and short dialogues; sample texts are shared on zhvilloj glossaries and story forums. Community members contribute dictionaries, example sentences, and language-learning resources.

Status and reception: Zhvilloj remains a hobbyist project and is not an officially recognized language. It serves as a testbed for conlang techniques and as a fictional culture's linguistic backdrop.
