yazlarndan
Yazlarndan is a Turkish morphological form that translates roughly as “from the summers.” It is built from the noun yaz (summer) combined with the plural suffix -lar to yield yazlar (summers), and then the ablative suffix -dan (or -den, depending on vowel harmony) to express movement away from or origin from a plural noun. The resulting standard form for this construction is yazlardan, meaning “from the summers.”
In ordinary Turkish, the ablative plural is formed as yazlardan. The spelling yazlarndan is not the standard
- Yazlardan gelen anılar bu albümde saklıdır. (Memories from the summers are stored in this album.)
- Geçen yazlardan kalan izler hâlâ tazedir. (The traces from the previous summers are still fresh.)
- This construction illustrates Turkish case and number suffixes: plural -lar and ablative -dan/den, with vowel harmony
- The phrase can function attributively (yazlardan gelen) or predicatively, depending on sentence structure.
