víete
Viete, often referred to as the "father of modern algebra," was a 16th-century French mathematician. His full name was François Viète. He is best known for his groundbreaking work in algebra, particularly his introduction of symbolic notation. Before Viete, algebraic equations were typically written out in words, making them cumbersome and difficult to manipulate. Viete's innovation was to use letters to represent unknown quantities and parameters, which greatly simplified the expression and manipulation of algebraic equations.
His most influential work, "In Artem Analyticam Isagoge" (Introduction to the Analytic Art), published in 1591,
