Välimiesoikeudessa refers to legal proceedings conducted before an arbitration tribunal. Arbitration is an alternative dispute resolution method where parties agree to have their dispute resolved by one or more neutral arbitrators, rather than going to court. Arbitration is often chosen for its perceived speed, cost-effectiveness, flexibility, and the ability to select arbitrators with specialized expertise in the subject matter of the dispute.
