Vokalisoituja is a Finnish grammatical form used as the partitive plural of the past participle vokalisoitu, which comes from the verb vokalisoida meaning to vocalize or to add vowels in a linguistic sense. The form describes nouns that have undergone vocalization and is common in linguistic and phonological discussions. As with other Finnish adjectives and participles, vokalisoituja modifies a noun that stands in the partitive case or is indefinite in quantity, for example vokalisoituja sanoja (“vocalized words”).
