Vitljus (white light) is light that is perceived as colorless, consisting of a mixture of visible wavelengths. In human vision, when the spectral distribution contains a broad range of wavelengths that are roughly balanced, the light is perceived as white. If a beam of white light is passed through a prism, it reveals a continuous spectrum.
