vesiensisilämmitys
Vesi-ilmalämpöpumppu, often shortened to vesi-ilmalämpö or even vesi-ilma, is a heating system used in Finland. It utilizes a combination of water and air to provide heating. The system typically involves an outdoor unit that captures heat from the ambient air and transfers it to a refrigerant. This refrigerant then passes through an indoor unit, which heats water that circulates through a home's heating system, such as radiators or underfloor heating. In some configurations, the indoor unit may also directly heat air for forced-air systems. This dual-component approach allows for efficient heat transfer, making it a popular choice for residential and commercial buildings in colder climates. The system can also often be reversed to provide cooling during warmer months. Its effectiveness is dependent on the outdoor temperature, with performance generally decreasing as temperatures drop significantly.
