Vastaanottimet, often translated as receivers, are electronic devices designed to detect and process radio waves or other electromagnetic signals. The antenna captures the incoming radio waves, which are then amplified by a radio frequency amplifier to increase their strength. A tuning circuit selects the desired frequency while rejecting others. The signal is then demodulated to extract the information that was originally encoded onto the radio wave, and finally, this information is often amplified again before being presented to the user or another system.
