Valtionosuuksien is the genitive form used in Finnish to refer to the state subsidies or transfers that the central government provides to municipalities and municipal federations. In practice, valtionosuudet are funds intended to finance the provision of basic public services at the local level, such as education, social welfare, health services, and regional administration.

The valtionosuuksien system is governed by legislation and the state budget.
