uragano
Uragano, also known as a typhoon or hurricane, is a type of tropical cyclone that forms over warm ocean waters. These storms are characterized by a low-pressure center, strong winds, and heavy rainfall. Uragano is a term used in the Philippines, while typhoon is used in the western Pacific and hurricane in the Atlantic and eastern Pacific. The formation of an uragano begins with the convergence of warm, moist air over the ocean, which creates a low-pressure system. As the air rises and cools, it forms thunderstorms that can develop into a tropical depression, then a tropical storm, and finally an uragano if wind speeds reach 74 miles per hour (119 kilometers per hour) or higher.
Uraganos are classified into five categories based on their sustained wind speeds, ranging from Category 1
The impact of an uragano can be devastating, causing widespread destruction to infrastructure, homes, and agriculture.
