Uitvoerwaarde is a Dutch term that translates roughly to “output value” or “export value.” The exact meaning depends on the context in which it is used, reflecting the value of what leaves a system, country, or process.

In computing and information technology, uitvoerwaarde refers to the value produced by a component, module, or function as its output. It is often called the return value of a procedure or function and can be a simple number, string, or a more complex data structure. The concept contrasts with invoerwaarde (input value), which is the data provided to the system.

In economics and statistics, uitvoerwaarde denotes the monetary value of goods and services that leave a country or reporting region during a given period. In Dutch statistical practice, uitvoerwaarde is used interchangeably with exportwaarde and is usually measured in a common currency, sometimes adjusted for price changes when analyzing real growth. It serves as an indicator for international trade performance and for calculating metrics such as the trade balance.
