Morphology and orthography: The instrumental suffix used with típus is -ssal, which yields típussal. This pattern arises because típus ends with a consonant cluster that triggers the subdued or linked form of the instrumental suffix. The suffix attaches directly to the stem, and in compounds the whole stem carries the suffix, as in prototípussal (with a prototype). The spelling reflects standard Hungarian phonology and orthography, and there is no separate space between típus and the suffix.

Usage and register: Típussal is most common in technical writing, research reports, engineering documents, and other formal discourse where a specific type or model is being used as a means or reference.
