Täysväriset is a Finnish term that translates to "full-color" or "true color" in English. It is commonly used in the context of digital imaging and printing to describe a color representation that utilizes a broad spectrum of colors.

In digital contexts, täysväriset typically refers to images that use 24-bit color depth, also known as 8 bits per channel for red, green, and blue. This allows for 256 levels of intensity for each of the primary colors, resulting in a total of 16,777,216 possible colors. This level of color depth is generally considered sufficient to reproduce most colors that the human eye can perceive, leading to realistic and vibrant images. Older systems might use lower color depths, such as 256-color palettes, which would not be considered täysväriset.

In printing, täysväriset implies the use of a full-color printing process, often involving CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) inks.
