Täsmälyö is a traditional Finnish sport that combines elements of ice hockey and curling. The game is played on a frozen lake or pond, with a rectangular ice surface measuring 30 by 60 meters. Each team consists of six players, including a goalie. The objective of the game is to score more goals than the opposing team by shooting a small, hard rubber disc, known as a "täsmä," into the opponent's goal.

The täsmä is similar in size to a hockey puck but is made of a harder material to withstand the impact of the players' sticks. The game is played in two 30-minute halves, with a 15-minute intermission.
