Tyrän is a fictional coastal city-state in the world of Eldoria. Located on a natural crescent bay on the western shore of the Tyrean Sea, it serves as a major hub for maritime trade and shipbuilding. The city has a population of roughly 120,000 residents and is known for its fortified harbor and labyrinthine market quarters. The Tyrenian language and culture influence much of the surrounding region.

Tradition traces Tyrän's origins to a confederation of three mercantile towns founded in the early 6th century by traders from Kethra. The city grew as a fishing and shipping center, and by the 11th century it established de facto independence from inland principalities. It formed the Tyren League with nearby port cities. A series of reforms in the late 18th century modernized administration and customs.
