The user selects a head by twisting the ring to align a detent pattern, which simultaneously engages a magnetic or mechanical coupling that provides power and data to the active head. Heads come in various types, such as fastening tips, micro-sensors, or actuator modules; the same interface is designed to carry control signals, enabling rapid reconfiguration without tools.
