Trykkpar is a Norwegian term that appears in several technical contexts to denote a pair of pressures acting on or within a system. It is not a standardized term with a single, universally accepted definition, and its exact meaning depends on the field, the author, and the specific problem being described.

In mechanical engineering and fluid mechanics, trykkpar may refer to the two pressures that bound a boundary or component: for example, the internal pressure of a gas inside a chamber and the external ambient pressure on the chamber wall; or the upstream and downstream pressures in a pipe or valve. In structural engineering and geotechnics, the term can describe the differential pressure transmitted through fluids or soils across a surface, where the pressure on one side differs from that on the other. In thermodynamics and multi-phase flow studies, it can be used to discuss competing pressure states that influence phase stability or flow behavior.
