Trosopplæring is a Norwegian term for organized religious education within Christian congregations, focusing on catechesis and faith formation for children and young people. It is typically conducted outside regular school hours and complements secular education rather than replacing it. The program aims to provide knowledge about Christian beliefs, the Bible, prayer, worship, sacraments, and church life, while fostering personal faith development and ethical formation.
