Translaatsioonilised is the Estonian adjective meaning translational, relating to the process of translation in biology—the conversion of genetic information encoded in messenger RNA into polypeptides during protein synthesis. The term is formed from translaatsioon (translation in molecular biology) plus the suffix -iline and is used mainly in Estonian scientific texts to describe phenomena that occur at the translation stage of gene expression.

In biology, translational phenomena encompass initiation, elongation, and termination of protein synthesis, as well as regulatory mechanisms that affect how efficiently ribosomes translate mRNA into proteins. Translational regulation can determine protein abundance without changing mRNA levels and represents a major layer of post-transcriptional control. The adjective can modify nouns such as mehanismid (mechanisms), regulatsioon (regulation), or protsessid (processes) to specify that these are related to translation rather than transcription or linguistic translation.
