thermophilicity
Thermophilicity refers to the characteristic of certain organisms, known as thermophiles, to thrive in high-temperature environments. These organisms typically live in temperatures ranging from 45 to 80 degrees Celsius (113 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit). Some extremophiles, called hyperthermophiles, can even survive and reproduce in temperatures exceeding 80 degrees Celsius, with some records showing life at over 122 degrees Celsius in deep-sea hydrothermal vents.
The biological mechanisms that allow thermophiles to survive and function at such high temperatures are complex.
Thermophiles are found in a variety of habitats, including hot springs, geysers, volcanic areas, and deep-sea
