Thermodynamics is a branch of physics that deals with heat, work, temperature, and energy. It states that as the temperature of a system approaches absolute zero (0 Kelvin or -273.15 degrees Celsius), the entropy of the system approaches a minimum or zero value. This means that at absolute zero, a system is in its most ordered state.

Thermodynamics has wide-ranging applications in various fields, including engineering, chemistry, biology, and cosmology. It is essential for understanding the efficiency of engines, the behavior of chemical reactions, the flow of energy in living organisms, and the evolution of the universe.
