Terzini is the Italian plural form of terzino, a football position typically described in English as a full-back or wing-back. The term is used in Italian football to refer to players who operate on the flanks of the defensive line, usually on the right or left side.

In traditional and modern football, terzini have a dual set of responsibilities. Defensively, they mark opposing wingers, contest crosses, and help maintain the shape of the back line. Offensively, they provide width, make overlapping runs, and deliver crosses or passes into the attacking area.
