technologicky

Technologicky is an adverb in Czech meaning “technologically” or “in a technological manner.” It derives from the adjective technologický (technological) and is formed with the standard adverbial suffix -icky, yielding technologicky. The term is widely used in scientific, industrial, and media contexts to attribute actions, processes, or conditions to technology or technological methods.

In use, technologicky modifies verbs or adjectives to indicate that technology or technological processes are involved. Examples include: “Systém byl technologicky vylepšen” (The system was technologically improved); “projekt se technologicky orientuje na automatizaci” (the project is technologically oriented toward automation); or “proces je technologicky řízený” (the process is technologically controlled). The expression can also appear in phrases such as “technologicky vyspělá společnost” (a technologically advanced society), where the emphasis is on the role of technology in development.

Technologicky is distinct from related forms such as technický (technical) and technický adverb technicky. While technický describes technical aspects or competence, technologicky foregrounds technology itself as the means or domain involved. In contrast to technický, which tends to apply to standards, equipment, or skills, technologicky often carries connotations of innovation, modernization, and tech-driven change.
