taminotdagi

Taminotdagi is a grammatical form used in Uzbek to indicate location within the supply or provisioning system. It is formed by adding the locative suffix -dagi to the noun taminot (or ta'minot in some spellings), yielding a phrase that means “in the supply,” “in stock,” or “part of the provisioning.” The construction functions as an attributive modifier and is commonly found in economic, logistical, and inventory contexts.

In practice, taminotdagi modifies a following noun to specify items that are currently available or managed within the supply chain. Examples include taminotdagi zaxiralar (the reserves in supply) and taminotdagi resurslar (the resources in supply). In procurement reports or logistics discussions, phrases such as “taminotdagi zaxiralar barqaror darajada” are used to describe the status of stock in the supply.

Grammatical notes: the suffix -dagi attaches to taminot to form taminotdagi and then can combine with any noun it describes, for example taminotdagi zaxiralar, taminotdagi mahsulotlar. It does not change for number or case of the following noun; the whole phrase simply means “the X in the supply.” This form is one of several Uzbek locative-attributive constructions that help specify the relationship of items to systems like inventory, procurement, and logistics.
