Server virtualization, or szervervirtualizáció in Hungarian, is a technology that allows multiple operating systems and their applications to run on a single physical server. This is achieved by creating virtual instances of a server, known as virtual machines (VMs). Each VM operates independently, with its own CPU, memory, storage, and network resources, all of which are allocated from the physical server's resources.

The benefits of server virtualization are numerous. It significantly improves hardware utilization, as a single physical
