Stemubirisubiri is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, described from tropical Central Africa. It is currently treated as monotypic, with a single described species assigned to the genus, though taxonomic acceptance varies among databases.

According to the original description, plants of Stemubirisubiri are perennial herbs reaching up to 1.2 meters tall. Leaves are opposite, simple, and broadly ovate with entire margins. The inflorescence is a solitary or few capitula, each with yellow ray florets surrounding a central disk; the fruit is an achenoid with a plumose pappus that aids wind dispersal.

Stemubirisubiri is reported from moist tropical forests in the Ituri–Kivu region, at elevations roughly 600–1,300 meters. It favors shaded understory or forest edges with rich, well-drained soil.

Phylogenetic placement within Asteraceae remains tentative. Preliminary molecular data place Stemubirisubiri within the tribe Heliantheae, but relationships to other genera are unresolved; further sequencing is needed before a stable generic assignment is achieved.

Name etymology: The genus name Stemubirisubiri is derived from local regional terms combined with Latin roots, intended to reflect resilience and growth in challenging environments.

Conservation status has not been formally assessed; given its restricted range and ongoing habitat loss, it may be vulnerable or endangered in the near future. No established commercial uses are documented; the plant is primarily of interest to researchers and collectors.
