Stalagmitter is a term used in cave studies and speculative biology to describe either a stalagmite-like mineral formation or a hypothetical cave-dwelling organism associated with such structures. In geology, the standard term is stalagmite, but stalagmitter appears in some discussions as a descriptor for growth patterns influenced by microbial activity or unusual geochemical conditions.

As a mineral formation, a stalagmitter forms from the accumulation of calcite or other minerals deposited from dripping groundwater. Typical growth is vertical upward from the cave floor, creating conical or columnar shapes. Colors and textures vary with mineral content, trace elements, and the presence of biofilms.
