A stacionárium is a hypothetical or conceptual device or location characterized by its immobility. The term itself, derived from the Latin word "statio" meaning a standing place or station, suggests something that remains fixed in one position. In scientific or philosophical contexts, a stacionárium might refer to a theoretical point in space-time that is perpetually stationary, unaffected by any cosmic movement. It could also describe a conceptual architectural element designed to be permanently fixed, perhaps as a landmark or a central hub.

The concept of a stacionárium is often explored in theoretical physics, particularly in discussions about reference frames and the nature of motion.
