splicingmodulating
Splicingmodulating refers to any process or intervention that alters the normal outcome of pre-messenger RNA (pre-mRNA) splicing. Splicing is a critical step in gene expression where non-coding regions called introns are removed from the pre-mRNA transcript, and coding regions called exons are joined together to form mature messenger RNA (mRNA). This mature mRNA then serves as a template for protein synthesis.
There are several ways splicing can be modulated. Naturally occurring alternative splicing allows a single gene
