Souhlasit is a Czech verb meaning to agree or to consent. It is derived from the noun souhlas, which means agreement or approval, by adding the infinitive suffix -it. The verb has cognates in other Slavic languages, such as Slovenian soglašati or suglašiti in Croatian, reflecting a shared root related to assent.

In Czech, souhlasit is used with the preposition s and takes the instrumental case after it, as in Souhlasím s tím. It expresses agreement with a statement, proposal, or someone’s position.
