Skodder is a Danish term for window shutters. In Danish contexts, skodder denotes exterior wooden or metal panels that cover a window, typically hinged on one side to swing open and closed. They are used to block light, provide privacy, regulate temperature, and protect windows from wind and debris.

Materials and variants: Traditional skodder are wooden, often tongue-and-groove boards; modern versions may be made from metal, vinyl, or composite materials.
