Sitoutumismäärä is a Finnish term used in finance, governance and project management to describe the portion of a financing facility, grant, contract or similar commitment that has been legally allocated or promised to a specific borrower, project, or purpose. It is typically expressed either as an absolute amount or as a percentage of the total available or authorized capacity.

In banking and corporate finance, sitoutumismäärä refers to the amount of a credit facility that has been formally committed to a borrower, as opposed to the portion that remains undrawn or unused. For example, if a bank provides a 100 million euro facility and 40 million is legally committed, the sitoutumismäärä is 40 million or 40 percent of the facility. This measure helps a lender and a borrower assess liquidity risk, credit exposure and funding planning.

In government budgeting or grants, sitoutumismäärä may denote the portion of an allocated budget or grant that has been legally earmarked for a specific program or project, reducing the amount available for other purposes.
