Silanetriols are a class of organosilicon compounds with the general formula RSi(OH)3, where R represents an organic substituent. These compounds are characterized by a silicon atom bonded to one organic group and three hydroxyl (-OH) groups. The presence of three hydroxyl groups makes silanetriols highly reactive, particularly in the presence of water or alcohols. They are essentially siliconic acid derivatives.

When exposed to moisture, silanetriols readily undergo condensation reactions.
