Shikotsu is a term that can refer to several things, most notably a lake in Hokkaido, Japan, and a related administrative region.

The primary association with Shikotsu is Shikotsu-ko, a caldera lake located in Shikotsu-Toya National Park in Hokkaido. It is the second deepest lake in Japan, after Lake Tazawa, and is known for its exceptionally clear waters. The lake is a popular tourist destination, offering activities such as boating, fishing, and hiking. Its origins are volcanic, formed by volcanic activity that created a caldera.
