Sekundaarikäämi, often translated as secondary coil, is a fundamental component in electromagnetic induction, most commonly found in transformers. It is a coil of wire that is inductively coupled to a primary coil. When an alternating current flows through the primary coil, it generates a changing magnetic field. This changing magnetic field passes through the secondary coil, inducing an alternating voltage across its terminals.
The voltage induced in the secondary coil is directly proportional to the ratio of the number of
