seguvedelike
Seguvedelike is an Estonian term used in metallurgy to denote a liquid alloy, a homogeneous liquid that forms when an alloy is melted. The word combines segu (alloy) and vedelike (liquid). In practice, seguvedelike refers to any molten metal or metal-containing liquid produced by heating an alloy above its melting point. These liquids are encountered during casting, soldering, and refining, as well as in alloy production processes where components are combined in molten form.
Properties of seguvedelike substances depend on temperature and composition and include viscosity, density, surface tension, melting
Common examples include tin–lead solder in its molten state and molten bronze or aluminum alloys during casting.
