In its early years, Sealantok was primarily sold to the construction industry, where it has been used for sealing windows, doors, roofing membranes, and joint seams in concrete. By 2018, the manufacturer expanded distribution to include automotive, marine, and aerospace markets, citing the material’s superior adhesive properties and minimal curing time. The product is supplied in 1‑liter tubes, with a range of variants tailored to specific substrates such as glass, metal, and ceramic.

Safety data sheets for Sealantok indicate that the material has low flammability and emits minimal volatile organic compounds during application. Proper handling requires the use of protective gloves and eye protection to prevent skin irritation. After application, the sealant remains tacky for approximately 15 minutes before curing to a flexible, durable finish.

Sealantok competes with other silicone sealants such as GE Sealer and Sika Sealants, and is often compared on basis of cost, durability, and environmental impact. Despite positive field reports, some users have reported the product’s viscosity to be slightly higher than alternative sealants, which may affect ease of application.
