Schärfere is the comparative form of the German adjective scharf, meaning sharper or more sharp. It is used to indicate that something has a greater degree of sharpness or intensity than another reference point. The term can describe physical sharpness (a sharper blade), flavor or aroma (a sharper taste), and also metaphorical sharpness such as wit, critique, or danger.

In German grammar, scharf follows the usual patterns of attributive adjectives.
