SatelliittiTVlähetykset, often translated as satellite television broadcasts, are a method of transmitting television signals via geostationary satellites. These signals are then received by individual viewers using a satellite dish and a set-top receiver. The process begins with a broadcaster sending their signal to an uplink station. The receiver then decodes the signal, converting it into a format that can be displayed on a television.
