Sappiteitä, in Finnish medical terminology, refers to the bile ducts, a network of channels that transport bile from the liver and gallbladder to the duodenum. In anatomy, the term encompasses both intrahepatic ducts within the liver and the extrahepatic ducts outside the liver.
